Whatever! Come up with your own acronym for F.T.P! So long as the by-product is empowerment.

The demonstration on the night of Saturday, February 11 totaled about 30 activists marching through Gaslamp District of San Diego was peaceful in nature and surprisingly, garnered a good amount of outside support from the downtown socialites. I say “surprisingly” because of the verb, FUCK.

“No Justice, No Peace…FUCK THE POLICE!”

But by the end, there were more people in the march than what it started with, and the vibe at Childrens Park was positive. And although the march was not a sanctioned Occupy event, awareness was still brought to the table.

However controversial, we must remember that these demonstrations stem from somewhere.

Whatever the acronym, the march embodies struggle, an oppression towards people who’ve been disenfranchised.

The 99 is a diverse group. Let us embrace our diversity of people and embrace our diversity of tactics. We are all in this together….Republican, Democrat, Feminists, Anarchists…

OCCUPY!
