Young Star Wars Jedi and his Master come to lunch
We knew that one of our favorite young dinosaurs was showing Force-sensitive signs, but were unprepared for him to be taken off to Jedi training so soon. I didn’t know how long it would be before his furlough, but was thrilled and surprised to see him here yesterday with his Jedi Master.
Luckily, I had everything I needed on hand to prepare a beautiful stacked shrimp and avocado salad. As I got started, the Jedi Master saw an opportunity to continue his apprentice’s training. The young Padawan used his skills with his lightsaber to levitate a shrimp, slice a cucumber and an avocado, and neatly stack the ingredients into a ring mold. A few other dinosaurs just happened to be at the house, and they cheerfully donned aprons, whisked together a vinaigrette, and pitched in where they could.
