Rick Hunter, principal character of the 80′s space opera “Robotech”. I first came across the show as a kid and fell in love with it. I even spent some hard earned money on a couple of original VHS tapes in 1992 and drew an entire notebook inspired by the show. All of these drawings are long lost now - except for the very FIRST one - drawn in pencil on the wooden door of our shed! It still stands there, despite 23 years of sun, rain and snow! I re-watched the entire Macross Saga in 2009 and that’s when I drew this second pic: that was in my first year of learning digital coloring.
