1) How are you? (seems like a solid beginning): Not so bad, but stressed - the Best Beloved and I are having a house built and we should get the keys any day now. Of course once we get them there’ll be a ton of things to do/buy, like buying a whole new kitchen and a fridge, sandpaper and paint the walls, lay the wood floors in the bedrooms… But I have no idea when, because we still haven’t got the keys. So, good, but stressing out.
2) Did Han shoot first? NOBODY WILL EVER CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE. I mean, establishing anti-hero character moment, anyone?
3) Do you know the muffin man? Nope. Wasn’t he in Shrek? I’ve heard he’s from a nursery rhyme but that’s the extent of my knowledge
4) Sherlock: ACD, Rathbone, Downey Jr., Cumberbatch, Miller, McKellan, other, nope, WTFKatzeGTH: Doyle’s, then Jeremy Brett’s. I love his interpretation of the man. Don’t get me wrong, I love Downey Jr’s, Cumberbatch’s and Miller’s too, but JEREMY BRETT.
5) Top 5 favourite foods? Oh good Lawd that’s hard. Chocolate (preferably black), cheeses (lots of ‘em), sweet white wine (small doses), gratin dauphinois and pesto pasta. Yum.
6) Tea? Yes please! Two and a half sugars, no milk.
7) What accomplishments are you most proud of? I got my “maîtrise” (then-equivalent of a master’s degree) in documentation. Also, I’m comparatively happy, which wasn’t that easy in the first place.
8) Do you like yourself? Meh. Not tremendously.
9) What’s the one thing you wish to have happen before you die? My writing a bloody original fiction book and people actually reading it.
10) Is there a book that you’ve read, or a movie that you’ve watched, over and over and over since childhood? Loads and loads of both! Anything by Daniel Pennac (Comme un roman and the Kamo series especially), The Hound of the Baskervilles (the book was practically a security blanket); as for films, Hook and Great Mouse Detective. But there’s loads and loads of others!
11) What would you want your ten-years-from-now self to say to your self of today? “If you do this at this point of time, you’ll find a job that suits you perfectly and is rewarding both financially and spiritually speaking. And you’ll get to keep it for as long as you want.” Yeah, well, a girl can dream, can’t she… :P
