HOME - Galatea

“Short and simple, I’m HOME. I make music. I recently released an album called Odyssey. My track, "Galatea” is on SVMMER SVN Volume 2. I wrote it really early in the morning over a cup of coffee while playing with a Casio VL-1, and i was really liking the sound I was getting out of it so I wrote it into a full song. Over the next few months I plan to write a bunch of material, and start getting a live act together, but other than that I’m pretty much going to stay at home and make a lot of coffee.“

- HOME // Punta Gorda, Florida // Midwest Collective, SOMICO Collective

DRIPMOB - Wisdom Drips

“Dripmob is a production/DJ duo consisting of myself– Charlie Davis (KAMAU), and Manolis Sueuga (ClearEyes). We grew up in Berkeley and Oakland and went to Berkeley High together, where we did a lot of beats and rapping. We started the Dripmob project over a year ago, after we started attending different universities. Wisdom Drips is a song we made a while back, which is a bit different from our signature sound which relies heavily on our use of synths. In the next couple of months we will be working on doing primarily warehouse shows with some friends in Berkeley, and pushing a beat collective/label we recently founded with our friend and fellow producer Slimburn called the Like Minded Collective. Manolis is taking time off school to work on beats and push LMC, and he and I will continue to collaborate under the Dripmob alias, hopefully releasing an EP in the next year. Since our formation, Dripmob has performed at venues such at 1015 Folsom alongside artists such as Kaytranada, Purity Ring, Giraffage, Falcons, and Local Hip Hop Legends Zion I, to name a few.”

- DRIPMOB // Oakland, California // Like Minded Collective

Tin Gardens - Crossed My Mind

“Tin Gardens is the collaborative effort of producers and multi-instrumentalists Cody Samson and Matías Añon. Based in Chicago, the duo has been together for just over a year and in that short period of time have developed a unique blend of indie rock and experimental electronic music. "Crossed My Mind” is just a preview of what is soon to come from the midwest duo as they prepare to take their sound in a more live-instrument oriented direction. Keep your eyes peeled for the next few releases, more to come very soon…“

- Tin Gardens // Chicago, Illinois // TDS Collective, Kolossus

Shark Anthony - Always There

“My name is Shark Anthony and i’m a 22 year old producer, vocalist, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. "Always Here” actually started off as really fast electronic song that I was starting to write MIDI information for last year. I came across the session file a few months ago and started to create the version that is out now. I’ve been playing this song live these past few months and I always have somebody come up and ask me about it. I was intending on adding original vocals along side the sampled ones but I’m just too eager to release this jam as is. My plans for the future include performing locally, releasing more singles on SoundCloud, and preparing for my 3rd album titled “Aquarian”! Till then, enjoy the track!“

- Shark Anthony // Boca Raton, Florida // Midwest Collective, Forever Underwater

Alper Atrek - Ok

"I’m Alper Atrek and I’m a 20 year old from Orange County who goes to school in Boston. The song I contributed to the compilation is called “Ok” and I hope it makes you feel tingly inside. In the next couple of months I’ll be working on performing my music live so I can play shows and such by the fall when I get back to school, in addition to playing lots of piano.”

- Alper Atrek // Boston, Massachusetts

A Cloud For Climbing - Over the river, over the woods

incndscnt - wishing she was here

“I dont really know who I am. I guess I’m just a boy, trying to discover who I am, and what I want to be in life. I do know that I am adventurous, I like to travel, make music and take polaroid pictures. One day I want to hitchhike across the U.S. with a beautiful girl I can call mine. I like the ocean, being alone sometimes, and vintage synthesizers. I use music to try and express my feelings and emotions. I can never tell if its working though. The song is basically about what the title states. Its about this girl I met that I really liked, things were working out but she wasn’t willing to be mine. At first I felt pretty lousy and wrote this song, but now I don’t really like to think about it. I moved on, life goes on. She wasn’t the one. ’m not sure what I plan to do. Maybe I’ll put together an EP or just a single with some remixes or something. It’d be nice to do a cassette release too, I really like tapes.”

- incndscnt // Middle of Nowhere, Wisconsin

“Hey, my name is Danny Diaz and I make music under the pseudonym ‘☿bluecrew☿’. my submission for SVMMER SVN vol. 2, '❦lυv yr gιrl❦’ is about being in love with the girl you have [(alternatively it’s about being infatuated with another guys girlfriend)but I didn’t say that] Senzu Collective recently reissued a mixtape I made last year called 'ΜΕΡΧΥΡΨ' to gear up for my LP ’ Life in Technicolor’ also being released thru Senzu! I’ll also be putting out a super awesome remix compilation later this year; featuring some friends. that will first see the light of day thru a mix for AMDISCS! I’m super grateful to be apart of this compiliation, and I hope to be apart the next!”

- ☿bluecrew☿ // Redondo Beach, California // Senzu Collective

I’m from Northern Va and i just turned 22 As soon as i heard about Svmmer Svn Vol.2 i was Excited to start working on some beats immediately. My track is an Electronic, Experimental trap kind of beat that i tried to make as summer like as possible It was heavily inspired by some of the artist at Soulection! As for the Future i’ve been working on some vintage sounding EDM/House music that will drop August 10th, I.m also working on another collab EP with my brother Joeru and my homie Kai. I’ve also been working on some more live material that is going along well!”

- Dan∆logOne // Woodbridge, Virginia // Outer Limits

R.O.M - Storm

“Music has been in me from a young age when I got my first guitar at the age of 6. I’ve always loved old school Rnb or anything with smooth vibes so you can just listen and think and that’s what I’ve always wanted to recreate. The hand (R.O.M logo) represents just being yourself because you cant change who you are just like a handprint plus it looks pretty cool. All my music is made for a reason, a release of emotion or it it was relevant to what was happening at that moment. The track storm was created when there was a storm outside So I decided to to kind of recreate a storm sound at the start then I started to hear the rest of the track in my head and it all fell into place and the melody in the chorus part of the track represents the rain falling down. My future so far is amazing with releases through Future Haze and being part Of the future haze roster, being Part of Souletiquette and forthcoming releases through them as well as releases through PlayItLoudrr and Future Beats Records. I also have some collabus coming up with 10A, D.H, Guffstar and Myke Forte. I also have Seasons EP coming up which is a 4 track EP based on the way I feel about all the seasons and you can check out 'Fall’ on my Soundcloud, excited for the future and what is to come and shoutout to Svnset Waves for supporting me”

Flamingosis - Windy City

“ I’m originally from morristown NJ and just recently graduated from Franklin and Marshall college with a major in American Studies and a minor in Film and Media. Now I’m busy traveling and doing music stuff for the time being. I named this track "Windy City” because it was inspired by my recent experience of performing at a show in Chicago, Illinois. That place has great music, great people and great deep dish pizza lol. I’m planning to come out with a new album relatively soon and finish up my music tour within the next couple of months.“

- Flamingosis // Morristown, New Jersey // KEATS//COLLECTIVE, Rootnotes, Em La La Terra

OVRJYD - Before

“I am a mysterious producer from the coasts of the UK. "Before” was written before everything ended with a girl, it’s mostly about hope yet there is an aspect of sadness in there. And my future plans are to write an EP.“

- OVRJYD // South England, United Kingdom // La Montagne

Eest Coast - November

"My name is Adam and I’m an idiot 17 year old kid. I started making music as Eest Coast last June as the result of emotional self-conflict, or something. My track, ‘November’ is about November 2013, which was the best and worst time, where I knew the best and worst people in my life. People are bad sometimes. Life has been uphill since then, I think. Next month I’m going to be in Denver, CO as a part of the Svnset Waves showcase, and then shortly after, my debut EP will be out through Shoeboxx Recordings. Much luv, stay positive or whatever. s/o to madygloom.”

- Eest Coast // Waterbury, Connecticut // Shoeboxx Recordings

RACYNE - TESLA

“I’m a 19 year old french producer who sees music as an emotion. Thus, I use influences from all backgrounds who inspire me. TESLA is a mix of relaxing music samples and trap music, and put upward, a powerful and harmonious sound. The perfect harmony between the sunrise and the storm. In the future, I will continue to produce music that makes me feel good, and everythings gonna be alright.”

- RACYNE // Nancy, France

Uncon Sci - Summatime

“Uncon Sci is a man on a musical mission. An avid traveler and music collector, he tours the globe bringing his music door to door. He’s spent the last 10 years moving from city to city and always enjoys the challenge of engaging a new scene. His years on the road have imbued him with many unique reference points that have all led to his current eclectic style. In a career spanning nearly 15 years Uncon Sci has released dozens of projects, 4 of which have been pressed up on vinyl. With early roots in instrumental hip hop and also as a rare groove DJ he moved into the future with a great knowledge and collection of old jazz, funk, and rock among the many modern influences he’d acquired. He was once a resident at the legendary “Funky Sole” party in LA and has also held down many other residencies around the globe, pushing a diverse menu of sound. Somewhere along the way sound system culture took hold and since then he’s been working to blend the sounds of jazz, psych, and soul with modern bass music.”

- Uncon Sci // Edwards, Colorado // Liquid Geometry

P∆ZM∆L - The Odd Ones

“I grew up around a lot of guitar players and amateur singers in my family. After being exposed to that as a child, I garnered my own interests in music by playing guitar and singing cheesy covers as I got older. About 4 years ago I started making beats that strove for an electronic, dreamy sound, soon after I had begun DJing and performing. I developed a fondness for hip hop drums and they became my weapon of choice in creating those beats, and I’m still using them for my newest sounds. My song for Svmmer Svn Vol. 2, "The Odd Ones,” started as a jazzy chord progression and then soon became this synth-like sound that complimented the soft swing of the drum programming. I am currently working on an EP I plan to release this year, full of airy and soulful sounds, and looking forward to performing alongside other artists from the XYZA Collective.“

- P∆ZM∆L // Miami, Florida // XYZA Collective

WILDCATbeats - dawn breaker

"WILDCATbeats is an east bay cali producer making use of his time in the desolate suburbs. WILDCATbeats has a variety of sounds from dreamy chillwave to drunk trap beats. His second Ep will be coming out soon on Dusty Records called "BAD TIMES” hailing from influences of Shlohmo too Gold Panda. The song DawnBreaker was made at 6am after the first day of work on a graveyard shift. It just happened to fit the feeling of driving into the dawning sun and the driving notion of wanting sleep. Dreamy and heavy days turned into a song.“

- WILDCATbeats // Livermore, California // Dusty Records

Crystal Ghost - Worth The Trouble

"In March of 2014 I purchased 1977 Yamaha Electone E-30 organ in McCall, Idaho. Since that purchase CC/NN (my former solo project name) changed to Crystal Ghost as my music became more "fine tuned”. I’m working on an album called WAVES, which features an array of organ based dance tracks, laced with subtle vocals, and a “surf” guitar undertone. Worth the Trouble is one of the more recent demo’s for the album, implementing vocals for the first time on any release.“

- Crystal Ghost // Denver, Colorado // Stereocure

KEV//BOT - Glad

HASHTAG HASHTAG - Magic Colors

“HASHTAG HASHTAG is the musical hobby of Christopher Leckrone. Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, musical influences other than country and classic rock were hard to find. Chris moved to LA for 5 years to pursue a career in music business then relocated to Miami after the parking tickets became to much in Los Angeles. Chris is now working on a 4 song EP to release on New Years Eve 2014. Right now, HASHTAG HASHTAG takes a back seat to Chris’s actual career of tour managing for other produces. After the EP, he will be concentrating on a live show and writing a full length.”

- HASHTAG HASHTAG // Miami, Florida

PANTHER MARTIN - Third

“Panther Martin is Blind Guy McSqueezy. 'I think I come off as a guy who likes TV shows.’”

tendencies - spring fling

“Ayyy, my name is Brandon and I go by “Tendencies”. I’m a Canadian-based producer and first started making music "seriously” about 3 years ago after receiving a copy of ACID Pro. I recently graduated high school (Woo!) and I’ve always been interested in music so that’s definitely something I want to pursue as a career. This song was conceived after binge-listening to a ton of “Future Funk”, “Vaporwave” and 1980’s “R&B”/“Funk” tracks (e.g. KEATS//COLLECTIVE, James Ferraro, BB & Q Band). I also just wanted to see if I would be able to make a track like that and I’m pretty sure it worked. For me, the next couple of months are going to be solely dedicated to improving on my production and making my tracks sound as good as possible for the listener.“

- tendencies // Edmonton, Alberta // SOMICO Collective

Harris Cole - Tell Me

"i’m a 17 year old kid from chicago. i graduated high school a year early because i didn’t enjoy it at all, so im goin to columbia chicago to study audio arts/acoustics. i started makin music pretty intensely about a year ago. im really infleunced by hip hop and jazz. that track tell me i made during the summer of 2013 while studying recorded music at nyu for a high school summer program. throughout the four weeks i spent in new york, i created one song, which was Tell Me - i was going through some relationship issues and so i made one track that portrayed how i felt at the time. in the future i want to learn and grow as much as possible. i want to become as skilled as i can with music.”

- Harris Cole // Chicago, Illinois // Blvnt Recordings, Midwest Collective

Wulves - Dive

“Canadian producer, Bron Diedrich (aka Wulves) has been working on some very experimental productions this summer. His track ‘Dive’ contains some future funk and summer elements to keep you dancing all night. This is just one of the many new tracks Wulves has in store as he continues to shape his sound into a new realm of future beats. Be on the lookout for his new music coming in Fall 2014.”

- Wulves // Ottowa, Canada // UNDRGRND//LVXVRY

intrøvert - Leyes

“Francesco D’Isa was born in Naples. Growing up in a musical scene dominated by hiphop, has been interested since childhood in the exploration of this style. At the age of 13 he became interested in music production and in beatmaking, influenced over time by artists such as Flying Lotus, Daisuke Tanabe, Nosaj Thing who introduced in his production the use of natural and abstract sounds, who made him looking mostly to experiment with this type of abstract beats surrounded by a melancholic vein. My productions are typically based on the fusion between natural elements, samples and analog instruments, surrounded by the most particular percussions I can create. Melancholy is the base of 'Leyes’, in which there are two moments: one faster and one calmer. This is what I always try to give to my tracks. For the future I just want to enjoy and propose my music, meet good people to collab with too, do shows.. The common ambition of every bedroom producer.”

- intrøvert // Naples, Italy // Sturm und Klang Records

petit biscuit - city lights

“Petit Biscuit is a French youngster whom constructs his music with the intent of bringing hope back into people’s lives by reminding them what love is all about and offering them a tender taste of paradise. At the peek of his teenage years, he is a sponge for the world around him, his true inspiration are “feelings, people, pictures, sweet moments & dreamy hugs” and that gives him a lot of material to transport us into his heavens. His use of guitars combined to all the different syrupy synths and his tight perky beats create the magic, transporting you into the unexplored… something unique. The association of modern as well as deep-rooted atmospheres echoes into oblivion and creates something very real and authentic.”

- petit biscuit // Rouen, France // Moose Records, SOMICO Collective

wwebss - Senses Reborn

“wwebss is a teen producer from Sweden. He loves trying to make new sounds and hopes to someday make a recognized name for himself.”

- wwebss // Kristinehamn, Sweden // SOMICO Collective

NioN - Spiraman

“I’m an italian guy that started to make music in 2012. With this music project I try to explore different genres, but also to keep my unique sound and feeling. Recently, I’ve started working a lot with samples, in fact my track for SVMMER SVN is almost completely made with them: a Four Tet song, some drum samples and a little of indian instruments, that’s all. I love the way a simple sound of a song can be transformed in a total different thing to express your style, I love to be inspired with somebody’s work and then expressing myself starting from the same sounds. By the end of the summer, I’ll release a split EP with an amazing peruvian artist, so stay tuned!”

- NioN // Cesena, Italy

[D]ay [B]reak - Change (feat. Vanilla Suede)

“Hey i am [D]ay [B]reak, a Chill Wave producer from Southampton UK, Taking musical influence’s from Wild Nothing, Spazzkid and most artists on Keats//Collective. I wrote Change with help from my brother aka. Vanilla Suede, I wanted the song to be slightly different in sound from my previous works, with a cleaner house type beat more like electronica sounding, i also wanted the song to be cleaner in sound. Vanilla Suede recorded guitar which i felt helped diversify the track. I plan to release a new EP within the upcoming months and just work hard on refining my sound a bit. Thanks!”

- [D]ay [B]reak // Southampton, United Kingdom
