Austria: Skiers Rescue Stag Trapped in Snow

A dramatic video has emerged online of skiers rescuing a deer which fell into a snow hole in Obertilliach, Austria.

The three professional skiers found the wild stag trapped in deep snow and attached a rope to the animal’s antlers to try to haul it to safety.

After an hour and a half of pulling and digging, the skiers finally managed to free the stag which ran off without injury. (via Telegraph)
