Tinago Falls
Right after my turn to lecture at the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao film workshop, I went to TInago falls on my own to catch up with the WAT2.0 participants.
I hired a motorcycle, grabbed a couple of local kids as tour guides and climbed down the entire 300-step descent alone, sucking on a fresh buko icelolly I bought from my guide’s mom.
I barely remember my last time in Tinago Falls so I was quite excited to see it again. The waterfall was exactly how it looked in postcards and exactly like how I pictured it in my head but there’s something about the ethereal misty air and how the light falls at strange angles on hidden waterfall that made it feel so unfamiliar.
I dragged a few other bloggers to swim to the small cave right behind the waterfall with me. I wanted to experience for myself how it should feel like, being a nymph hiding behind curtains and curtains of water. haha. For future reference for writing and other whatnot.
