Little hedgie isn’t feeling to hot. She managed to shit out blood and what appears to be internal tissue. So… just got back from the emergency clinic in O'Fallon (a 1.5 hour drive each way). She was uncooperative as all hell for the vet but sweet as can be with me and she’s starting to warm up to boyfriend. Since the vet wasn’t an exotic animal vet I wasn’t totally comfortable with her giving B sedation to do x-rays. So, I’ll be getting up at the crack of dawn to try and get an appointment with an exotic animal vet in CoMO. Since we have them, they just don’t do emergency hours. 

I love my pets too much. But I need the unconditional love of animals.
