The Mosaic Trail
This lamppost celebrates the Fillmore East (1968 - 1971) which was located at 105 Second Ave in NYC. The theater quickly became known as “The Church of Rock and Roll,” with performances from acts like The Allman Brothers Band, The Jefferson Airplane, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, John Lennon and Frank Zappa.
