Hot Country Nights was a short-lived, “country”-themed NBC variety show from 1991 that Entertainment Weekly’s Ken Tucker, in a contemporary review, called “tepid stuff”, “glossy and prefabricated”, and “insistently bland”.

I have never seen as much as a minute of Hot Country Nights and yet this animation promises everything Tucker assured us that the show delivered. Can you feel the heat?
