21.

I had a long, elaborate post planned for today, but it’s not all the way ready to be uploaded, so it’ll just have to sit in my draft box until I figure out what to do with it.

Instead, I’ll just take this opportunity to say thank you.

Thank you first and foremost to God for all of His blessings and grace that I’ve experienced, especially over the course of the last year. My Christian walk is the furthest thing from perfect, but I’m thankful that His goodness doesn’t depend on my ability to “be good” or act right.

Thanks to my family, for putting up with and supporting me, even though I’m certain that they have no idea what I’m doing with my life-I guess we’ll figure that out together.

Thanks to my friends for being there. And this is just as much for the people that I’ve recently met as it is for the people that I’ve known for some years now; I’m not the best when it comes to expressing feelings, but if you’ve ever gone out of your way to deal with me and make me feel comfortable, then I just want you to know that I appreciate you.

20 was an amazing year for me. I learned so much about myself and the world, and as challenging as some of it was, I wouldn’t change anything about the last year of my life. I look forward to another year of growth, obstacles, and even setbacks as I continue to find my place in the grand scheme of things, and I’m glad that I have such a great group of people around me for this journey.

Here’s to 21 being even better!
