This is the real war on Christmas: 20 families who have already bought stocking stuffers, and wrapped up Legos, and assembled bicycles. 20 families who will never think of Christmas again without remembering little coffins and evergreen wreaths. 20 families whose hearts will break when they look at the ornaments their kids made in art class.
The war on Christmas is not a handful of atheists protesting a nativity scene that’s on the lawn of the courthouse instead of the church. The war on Christmas is waged by people who value automatic weapons and great big clips more than they value parents, children, and the love that holds families together.
