I had to go out to Middleburgh Hts. today for a pre-employment drug screening, and I saw a great opportunity to get out on the bike. My house very near the Metroparks, so I was able to take the bike trail almost the whole way! It was about 7 miles to the lab, and I was feeling amazing. After I was done I headed back but decided to stop at Isaac Lake for a run. There is a 1.2 mile loop I used to run there, so I ran it 4 times. By the time I got back on my bike, I was pretty beat, and still had 4 miles to go. But it got easier, and there were plenty of downhills. But that tired and muddy feeling, as only us runners know, is more than enough reward.
