Not to sound rude or too blunt but why do you support Rubio? He's got no executive experience and he's a first term senator. Sounds just like a republican Obama. I think he would be great as a VP. That way he would gain the executive experience he needs to run for president. Hence my support for Scott Walker; he's got very recent executive experience and he said he would most likely choose Rubio as his VP. Thoughts? I'm very interested to hear your side.
He actually has more experience from his year’s in the Florida state legislature, which you should take into account. These included a turn as Speaker of the House, which actually is a bit of executive experience in some ways.
The “Republican Obama” would be Cruz, no offense.
He’s go ideas, he’s got workable plans, he admits when he’s wrong and corrects his mistakes, he knows how to work across the aisle and get things done. I see no downsides to him as a President, other than having less executive experience than some of the candidates. The only comparison to Obama that can be made is that they were both 1 term senators, but other than that he’s really quite different in both substance and personality.
Walker, unfortunately, is quite boring and in this campaign has shown a great capacity for sticking his foot in his mouth on various issues that would make him much harder to elect. I can’t say I’m confident in his ability to win the primary, much less the national election. Which is, ultimately, very important.
