Since black is always in style in the fashion industry, saying something is “the new black” means that it is the hottest new thing. This phrase can be used to call out the “coolness” of anything, it’s not just limited to the fashion world.

But it doesn’t stop there even American Girl Doll has their own fashionista. Which goes great as an accessory to this real human child lumberjack.

A few weeks ago even Stewie from Family Guy was wearing one.

The only thing that could make this trend even better is if we all started accessorizing to fit the trend.  We need more axes.  Which will help to ward off the fashion forward Zombies that will inevitably be coming for us all.
