NEW ZEALAND TO VOTE ION KEEPING ITS FLAG

Before brands, your nationality and probably your flag spoke volumes about your national identuty.

In a country like the US, it is still a central pillar that everyone rallies around. In the UK, the flag has been routinely hijacked by the far right - and only recently acceptable by a new generation.

New Zealand an ex-British colony will allow its citizens to vote on whether they want to retain a flag that still has elements of their colonial past sitting in the top left!

Despite the political reasons for doing so - I hope they vote for a chance to represent their country’s identity in an authentic way.
