i’ve gone through two ‘tapestry’ albums, one 8-track, one cassette and am now seeing if i can destroy a cd through use. possibly the best album ever (except for ‘court & spark’ and any laura nyro, or maybe they’re all the best, i don’t know anymore)
8-TRACKS! There’s something warm and fuzzy about owning music you love in the multiple formats that have been available (and a sign of your age which is not always so warm and fuzzy - for me at least).
this is one of the 45s i inhertied from my grandmother. i know it sounds totally hipster of me but records do sound… better. you can pick up a player for mad cheap!!
I do need to get off my butt and either figure out how to replace the belt on the old turntable I have (also given to me by my aunt and uncle) or buy a new one. I have a problem with broken material possessions. I have so many that I keep thinking, “but it can be fixed someday!” I hate throwing stuff like that away. I need an intervention.
