A lot of school girls used to think that I was dating my best friend.

The first time my now-spousething asked me out I thought it was just hanging out because he made the mistake of using the words “hanging out”. He knows better now. Because seriously, you need to SAY THE WORD “DATE”. I never, ever assume it’s a date. Be upfront, be clear. Because I hang out platonically with dudes all the damn time.
