Kid Icarus began in 1996 as the musical brainchild of wayward home taper, Eric Schlittler,and over the years, has grown to include a number of collaborators. Releasing albums of home baked lo-fi psychedelia, and hi-fi indie guitar swing. At the time of this writing, Kid Icarus has evolved into a full band sporting the talents of brothers Joe and Justin Marchegiani along with Jeff Gilotti. Here we offer a collection of rare, unreleased goodies from Kid Icarus past and present. Minta & The Brook Trout is a 4-piece indie outfit from Lisbon, Portugal where they live and make beautiful folky/americana music that would fit right in with the Saddle Creek catalog. Olympia makes the band’s 4th release since forming in 2008, and was originally self-released by the band digitally and on CD in 2012.
