badbitchx0o asked: when i contour and highlight i have trouble like blending it all together

I recommend patting to blend out and not using a buffing/swirling motion because you’ll blend out everything too much and it will all sort of mush together so you wont get an obvious distinction where you contoured and highlighted.

Also make sure the brush youre using to blend out is synthetic (plastic) and not animal hair because brown/animal hair brushes are better for powder and don’t blend out cream & liquid products that well.

You can use a damp beauty blender (makes sure to squeeze all the excess water out first) and press to blend out. Beauty Blenders are a makeup sponge that you can wash and use over & over. The “orginal” beauty blender can be bought at Sephora or online I got mine 2 for $25 on Sephora.com. However there are many cheaper dupes at places like Target and Ulta. I have a whole review on them under the product reviews on the top of my page! These blend out flawlessly and give an airbrushed look.

You can also use a flat top synthetic brush. The one pictured below is from Sigma however ELF, Sonia Kashuk, Coastal Scents, Real Techniques, Sedona Lace and more brands make ones! These brushes make it really easy to blend by patting because they are flat and dense.
