Bold lips are a statement so keep the rest of your makeup simple. I love love love bold lips because they always make you look like you are super confident which makes you feel confident! Also, lip liner!

Lip liner will give your lipstick a sharp, clean line making it look a lot more polished. You might have to own a couple different lip liners for different lipsticks but I always like to have a basic pink, red and plum. You can find super affordable lip liners from brands like NYC, NYX, etc.

For bold lips I love dewy skin, blush/bronzer/contour, defined brows and mascara (sometimes winged liner if you’re feelin fabulous). I prefer dewy skin with bold/dark lips because it looks a little more fresh and natural than super matte skin and all the attention will go to your lips and not your foundation. Since bolds lips can be over powering you want to use a little bronzer or blush, or both! This will add some color and life to the skin to balance out the bold lip :)
