damndiyah asked: How do I get that pretty glow and highlight under my eyes? Ive seen it on alot of girls . What can I use?

Basically you want to use a concealer shade about 2 - 3 shades lighter than your skin tone in a triangle form under your eyes. You can even go 3 - 4 shades lighter depending on how bright of an under eye you want. If you don’t have serious dark circles i’d recommend a light weight concealer nothing too heavy because it can cake up and crease under the eyes.

My all time favorite concealer for highlighting under the eyes is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer because it’s super light weight yet has great coverage. So easy to blend out and feels light. Some other great light weight concealers are Maybelline Dream Lumi and Loreal Magic Lumi concealers.

When applying concealer under your eyes thats a few shades lighter you want to make sure to use the triangle method so youre bringing down the concealer because if it’s only directly under your eyes the harsh contrast of light and dark will be obvious. Using the triangle method allows it to blend away and fade away into your foundation. Just pat your fingers to blend, try not to swipe because it will just move the concealer and not have as much as a brightening effect. You also want to make sure to apply the concealer after foundation because the foundation will just cover up the highlighting you just did.
