whydyouonlyreblogmewhenyourehigh asked: So I have a big issue with using my concealer to cover up my acne, do you have any drugstore concealer suggestions? Right now I'm using a physicians formulas brand

I have a few tips with concealing acne! :)

  1. Press to blend, don’t rub. Pressing and patting the concealer over a blemish will give more coverage because you’re concentrating the concealer in a particular spot. Sometimes rubbing/blending the concealer out with cause the concealer to rub away and just blend into the skin.
  2. Use a small brush, even an eyeshadow blending brush to apply powder directly over any blemishes you just concealed. I find this method to help last any blemishes I concealed to stay concealed all day. This will add extra coverage as well as set the concealer. Sometimes if you use a big brush to set where you just concealed it can look cakey by applying too much powder to a large area but by powdering directly over the blemish youre making sure the concealer won’t go away and avoiding looking too powdery!
  3. Go for a long wearing concealer so it lasts all day. Anything too creamy or thin can fade away through out the day. Go for a concealer that dries to more a powder finish with a more drying formula. This will ensure it stays put on the skin. Try a concealer like Loreal True Match Crayon Concealer
