What would these (dead) musicians look like today? We admit, the question – and these illustrations – creep us out, but in a can’t-look-away kind of way. (There are also a lot of turtlenecks.)

Ron Sachs of Sachs Media Group hired the Michigan-based company Phojoe to use a computerized age-progression technology and add a few years to portraits of “music legends” who died before their time.

From left to right, top to bottom: Elvis, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Karen Carpenter, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Jim Morrison.
