Columnist will stop using ‘Redskins’
USA TODAY Sports columnist Christine Brennan says today that she will stop using the name ‘Redskins’ to identify the Washington-area football team.
“Why? It’s the right thing to do. If that’s not reason enough, try explaining and defending the nickname to a child. It’s impossible.”
