I Cry

Losing one close to thou,
It feels to be a tragedy.
Everyone has a story tell,
Many live only to tell a mere fraction of theirs.
Death comes as such a warning and reminder,
It shocks,
Calling to attention the hind of the neck’s hair.
One mourns during the day, and cries to the Creator
Deep into the night.
Praying for a spacious grave fit for
Allah’s Slaves.
His Believers.
Death, as a reminder, is many signs interpreted differently to every soul.
Aye, surely,
It is many a chance for thee to
Correct one’s soul.
Thus, in this life,
One must prepare for the hereafter.
Death is merely a soul’s next chapter.
