The first time I heard this song by Backseat Goodbye I knew that the two simple words “good ghosts” would be tattooed on me. It wasn’t anything fancy or anything big, but it held a whole hell of a lot of meaning to me. What Chad had wrote in Good Ghosts reminded me of why music was so important to me. We all pour ourselves into the lyrics of songs sometimes. Relating to every single word we hear through our headphones. Recently I’ve had a hard time dealing with everything that was going on with me and music has been here for me just as much as my friends and family have. In this song it just hit me that this will always be the truth, “I drew all over my arms, the words to my favorite songs. When I hate the world they remind me not to.” When I thought the world was against me all I had to do was listen to my favorite songs to get me by. It’s artist’s like you Chad that we need more of and I hope that you know that. This tattoo is a reminder of how I’ll never fully be alone, I’ll always have artists like you pouring your heart into songs that will help get me by.
