My first tattoo. It says “i am. i am. i am.” Its a quote from the Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Its one of my favorite books and it’s a book that basically saved my life. To me this tattoo means a lot. And I have it facing towards me because its for ME. (My tattoo artist, at Beaver tattoo in Queens, said it was really weird for me to have it face me.) It reminds me to be myself, that I am who I am and I shouldn’t change for anyone. I should never compromise myself worth. The decisions I make and the path I choose it my own.
