So i got this tattoo this past weekend and I’m absolutely in love with it. The image is a page from the book The Paperbag Princess. It was the first book I learned how to read and i have always loved what it stood for. A strong and clever woman can outwit a dragon and save the prince, but she doesn’t have to end up with him. It was the best role model i could have ever asked for. And even today in this world where young girls constantly need good role models, this book still stands out and it inspires me everyday.
Jen, owner of Monarch Tattoo in Newfoundland, NJ did this and my other tattoo and I refuse to go to anyone else! She is amazing :)
