Day 3: Weapon Based Hero

Creive (full name: Marcus Stetson Creive)

So I’m cheating this one a little by using one of my preexisting original characters.

Creive is my oldest (still surviving) OC He was originally created for a story I was making in a post apocalyptic world where he was an insane mutant mad scientist/merchant that the main characters were going to need a map and utilities from. His scene consisted of him injecting hamsters with a liquid that caused them to violently explode when asked what it was he just said “hot sauce!”. Well that idea sorta flourished and he became a main character, later the story died but i couldn’t get rid of Creive. His character became far more tragic, his face was horribly scarred by an attack on him and his love couldn’t bear to look at him. Later that story died and I developed a new story based in more modern times… but then realized it was the exact same plot as The Crow… d’oh!

So I slowly developed more of a back story for him, even more tragic than the last few, I made him a bit older, I gave him a family, a military background as a marksman, and then the tragedies that would make him into what he is.

An explosion that maims him and leaves him on his deathbed. A miracle drug secretly injected into him that mutates his body and heals his wounds so rapidly that he is permanently scarred. then returning home to find his wife and son killed. His “powers” are based upon the drug that mutated him, it increased his intelligence and skills mostly pertaining to marksmanship. He’s amazing at perceiving trajectories and hitting targets. He has an arsenal of guns but his favourites are his custom revolvers and his sniper rifle. He is a master of the trickshot (such as sniping someone through three office buildings without hitting a single other person than his target… he couldn’t do that before the drug.)

His personality is insane, pure and refined insanity. He’s still smart and sociable but he’s crazy all the same (can you blame him? his mind’s working faster than it probably should.) He likes listening to lighthearted songs (i.e. Pure Imagination) while in a shootout. He banters and rants, he curses and he flips his shit over philly cheesesteak sandwiches. He is the platinum of crazy.
