4 ½ cups cooked & mashed sweet potatoes (5 or 6 medium potatoes)
½ cup butter, melted
1/3 cup milk
¾ cup dark brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 beaten eggs

topping:
½ cup all purpose flour
1 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup butter (not melted)
¾ cup finely chopped pecans

directions:
preheat oven to 350’ degrees & butter a 9x13 inch shallow baking dish
mix together:
sweet potatoes, melted butter, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and eggs.
spread mixture into prepared shallow baking dish

mix light brown sugar, chopped pecans & flour, cut small pieces of 1/3 cup of butter until mixture is crumbly and sprinkle mixture over sweet potatoes.
bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown
