FDNY Beefcake Calendar Gets Its First Female Firefighter
New York’s Fire Department has just made a historical addition to its annual FDNY Calendar of Heroes.
For the first time, the calendar is featuring a female firefighter, Danae Mines of Engine Co. 60 in the South Bronx – also known as “Miss March.” In the photo, Mines wears red suspenders and a fully loaded gear belt while showing off her toned arms in a defiant pose.
