Weekly Joy Feed

Since I got a little bit behind on posting this week, I’m just going to pretend it’s Friday today. I’m all for weekend extensions anyway, so: Happy Friday, everyone :) Thank you so much for all your lovely comments yesterday! They truly made my day :) I’m enjoying my new workspace as I’m writing these words, and your positive feedback has inspired me to work on and feature more areas of our house, that could use a little make-over and/or re-organizing!

What are you up to this weekend? I’m currently taking a Photoshop Class and waited until the last minute to start my assignments that are due this Sunday. I’m also finishing up another website project (my third one so far), which I’m really excited about! Tomorrow night we’re hoping to drive to one of our favorite bookstores in Spring Green. Several actors from the American Players Theater are reading from bestselling author Nathan Englander’s new book “What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank.” The bookstore is a 45 min. drive from here (and it’s a late event for a Sunday night), but it seems like an opportunity too good to miss. Englander, who currently resides in NYC and Madison, will be at Arcadia Books as well. Have you read any of his work?

Lastly, an announcement I’m so very excited about: {joycreation} is having its very first Artist Feature 2012 next week! You’ll even have a chance to win a lovely piece of art :) More details will follow, so make sure to check back!

I hope you’re having an awesome weekend! Below you will find a round-up of some my favorite posts this week. Thanks again for all your support and have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
