My joke from an eclipse 7 years ago:
Look, I get that Ford "Truck Month" ended last month, and now it is Chevy "Truck Season," but it's Fantastic Four Day today, and it's always Truck Month in my soul!
I got a new pen in the mail yesterday, but I didn't feel like drawing. Today, I felt inspired, and felt like this was a good way to break-in the new pen.
I saw varying info as to which day, but apparently Heckboy Day was this week, so I thought I would do a sketch of everyone's favorite Heckdude.
I was listening to Sting's "Fortress Around Your Heart" and did this sketch.
I will watch almost anything, as long as it has Sam Rockwell dancing. I don't care if something is a serious drama, if you have Sam Rockwell dance, he deserves an Oscar in my book!
I guess it's Superman's birthday, because I have been seeing a lot of posts. But also, I keep seeing posts about the new Crow movie, so I thought I would do a mash-up.
I had a nightmare, yes, nightmare that the abomination that calls itself Beetlejuice (I saw a commercial for the Broadway Beetlejuice coming to town right before bed), and the Six Flags guy, were chasing me. It was terrifying that my mind found a way to double up on the scary. I think my brain was trying to process why someone thought a green haired Guy Fieri would be a good Beetlejuice.
A sketch from this morning.
Some moments from today that I felt like capturing. I was eating a banh mi in my car. Nobody was around, and the sandwich was beyond delicious, so I kind of went ravenous, and when I regained awareness, I saw an old lady chuckling at me. It was like I snapped back to reality, haha. Also, a guy kept following me for about 4 miles blasting Justin Bieber. I don't know if he was randomly trolling me. It felt somewhat Lynchian.
