I’m beginning to lose hope for an F(x) comeback. At this point, SM should release their album before it’s too late or just admit that something’s gone wrong and the group will disband

I’m curious why people are so desperate for them to disband when they are doing solo work fine on their own while still being in the group. If they’re never getting another comeback, sure, we can be told, but all the members and the company seem to think they will at some point. They never have to disband if they don’t want to tbh since it’s not contingent on their solo careers. Sulli left and announced it. The rest haven’t and are staying tied to the group and company for their own reasons so far. Either wait for a comeback and love them or don’t wait for a comeback and enjoy the time you spent with them. Or just focus on yourself and your life for a while until you get definitive news either way.
Then there’s all this nonsense about who can survive on their own if f(x) is over, pitting one member’s success against another when each member has their own life. Luna loves doing musicals, she also does variety work on her own. Have you guys not seen what she’s done over the past year. She’s also bringing back Luna’s Alphabet soon. Luna has her own fans and her own career path and her own plans.
Same as Amber. She has a lot of indie music friends who can actually release the type of music that they love and she’s managing to do that now with her mixtape. She knows she’s not on top. She knows she doesn’t have the most fans, but she’s doing it anyway because that’s her life, her goals, her focus. She’s learning to direct because it’s also her interest to have a life behind the camera as well. To sing. To write songs. Even without f(x), she will be fine and be able to afford her Nike shoes, hang with her friends, and raise her pets like she likes to do. Different things are important to different people.
People constantly calling Luna and Amber a flop but also calling themselves fans need to reevaluate themselves. People saying Luna and Amber aren’t successful and can’t be successful need to look at what is actually important to these two before spouting nonsense.
Amber is releasing her music soon. Luna is the star of a new musical and will release music soon. Krystal and Victoria have their own goals as well. Do you not think Krystal could be even more popular if she appeared on variety shows rather than just a few interviews for magazines and dramas? But she chooses not to. Do you think she doesn’t get invited? Offered a high enough fee? She has certain roles she wants to play in the future and her own life that she wants to live.
I will say it again, success is different for different people.
I will also say again if there are no plans for them to disband just yet, then they aren’t going to. They all still have some time left on their contracts with SM, so they will either do more group work or they won’t. Learn how you can learn to live with that. It’s easy if you let it be.
I’m tired of people working up steam about a member or the company, then fizzing out about it because you honestly have nowhere to direct it, then start picking at the members, what they’re doing, then picking at the fandom, other fandoms. Dang.
