That special time in every job’s lifespan when you’re one foot over the threshold and saying give me a reason…

I am in the weird position at the moment of not being entirely sure of what I’m doing with my life over the next year or so, but also for the first time since I was young, I don’t really have anything holding me here.

My kid is raised and in college, no partner, no mortgage to keep up. My lease is up in October and I wasn’t planning to renew it because it’s too expensive.

Theoretically, I could just…bounce. Go somewhere else and do something else.
