Listen, Oliver was almost certainly a business major because the expectation would have been that he would one day take over Queen Consolidated.

And that is my new head canon-- the REASON Oliver never cared about his classes and flunked out/got kicked out of four schools is because he was stuck in whatever classes business majors take. He should have majored in English or history or literature or something where he studied languages. Then he would have been fine.
