It happened.
Hey Tumblr, it’s been a while, 5 months to be precise.
On February 13th, my mom passed away after a 4 year long fight with cancer. My family, myself, and her friends were with her when she passed. Life hasn’t been the same since then.
I’m still at my job at Wonderful World and doing great. I’m one of the only employees right now so a lot of the weight lands on me- I have to feed hundreds of animals on top of packing shipments of several hundreds, even thousands of animals. It’s really stressful right now and will be until we get more help.
Since February, I’ve:
- purchased my first car
- hatched my first clutch of ball python eggs (pastel yellow belly x ivory) and hatched 5 ivories/pastel ivories out of 6 eggs. The last was a pastel yellow belly
- hatched over 40 leopard geckos
- gotten 2 raises at work
- played with a domestic fox
- hatched my first crested gecko
- went to Germany
- eliminated most of my rat feeder breeder colony
- watched several clutches of hognose hatch
- witnessed a palmetto corn hatching
- watched sinaloans hatch
- found out of one my “female” leopard geckos was actually a male
... And probably a lot of other stuff, I guess that’s all I felt was worthy or funny enough to share. I dunno, feel free to message me or stuff. I’m not sure how often I’ll be on here- maybe a bit this week when I’m on vacation.
