If I could design an Animal Crossing game (after playing ACHHD)

You are the mayor

You can get a job as a home designer

Your town is utterly empty and you get to design the town (place the plaza, bulletin board, town hall, etc)

You can design main street. It would be a mixture of main street from New Leaf and from Happy Home Designer. It would have The Nooklings’ shop (which doubles as the department store from HHD), the Able Sisters’ shop, the hospital, a concert hall (that K.K. and Shrunk perform at), the school, restaurant, your own shops, etc. that you can all redesign (like in HHD).  You can also redesign NPC shops.

Customize your character from the get-go

More hairstyle, face, body type options (like making a mii but cuter because it’s animal crossing)

There doesn’t have to be a one space radius around everything. It would be like HHD.

All decorating would be in the format that HHD allows you to decorate. Like HHD, there would be 2 camera modes, Decorating and Normal game play.

You get to decided who moves in and also evict neighbors. Isabelle will bring a profile on the neighbor who wants to move in and you get to decided yes or no. Also, if you deny a neighbor, you can contact them later to have them move in if you change your mind. On the first day that you let neighbors move in, you pick five to start but any time after that it’s one at a time.

Amiibo Card compatible. This is another way you can have villagers move in.

You can bulid an entire campsite. It would be like a house plot from HHD but it would just be a campsite for visiting villagers. It would be a tent year round, except in the winter and then it would be an igloo (like New Leaf).

You decide where the neighbors live. You can pick a plot of land and design it. However, since it would be a regular AC game, you wouldn’t be able to pick a season. You would be able to see what it’d look like in a different season though!

When a neighbor first decides to move in, you can decorate their house for them on moving day

Neighbors will ask you to redecorate their house every once in a while as if it were any other favor. When they do this, it will be like HHD. You will meet at the office and discuss any details. You can also make the villager’s house larger, add rooms, and add more than 2 rooms. Their house can be as big as yours, with the main room potentially being the largest room.

More than 10 neighbors

Big enough town for more than 10 neighbors

Ramps and slopes

Various sports balls to give to neighbors (like in Population Growing)

Transfer of bells will be easier and simpler. Just have the person you’re transferring to come to your town or vice versa and go to the atm (I forgot what its actually called) and select transfer and then select their name and boom, done. It would be like real-life Chase QuickPay.

All of the cute furniture, clothes, changes made in HHD will be available (including wall and ceiling furniture) as well as new furniture in general.

Bat neighbors or one bat NPC

More weather (some days can be foggy or windy, it can hail in the winter, etc)

Winged neighbors can fly slightly on windy days

Octopus neighbors don’t hold umbrellas in the rain like frog neighbors

Brewster gets a white dove wife that works in the cafe as a pastry chef and she is super sweet and super adorable and is always making Brewster blush.

You can interact with Special Character before and after hours, if their shop has hours, or on lunch breaks in they don’t (you can catch Isabelle and Blathers on lunch breaks and the Able sisters and the Nooks before and after hours)

You can buy tree saplings and bush starts from Leif in bulk for decorating the town

Music options (this can go from the hourly music, the raining music, the shops music, everything. you can decide from the new game’s music, music from past games, or mix and match. for me, I’d put most of the hourly music set to Population Growing music as well as the raining music)

Music brought in from other games will be slightly remastered to match the style of the new game but not changed so much that you don’t get the nostalgia from listening to it

You can decide how long or short the Town Tune is so that when it plays, there isn’t and awkward silence between the tune and the hourly music

Attic from Wild World will be added (it can be decorated and is the only room you can save in by lying in a bed)

Those music options can be changed in game via telephone in any part of the house, as well as which dialect you want the neighbors to speak in and whether or not you want certain special characters to visit (like in Wild World (those dialects are animalese and bebebese or no sound when they speak))

You can call your neighbors and shopkeepers after hours (you can call to chat, invite them over, or ask to come over. You can invite up to four neighbors/shopkeepers at a time to your house and a neighbor can invite you and one other villager (Special characters that don’t have hours can be invited over after 8 pm))

This game will be available on 3ds and Wii U but you are not required to have both to play the game

If you do have both, you can load your game on either console and have the SAME TOWN on both consoles. So you can still interact with your town and neighbors and etc even when you aren’t home. You just have to connect the 3ds to the Wii U and upload the save file and sync them occasionally so they can both be up to date with each other.

You can have a gyroid sitting outside your house. Similar to population growing, it will sit outside and you can save that way if you like. It will also tell you if a neighbor came to visit and relay messages to you, etc. You can also change it to any type of furniture gyroid or leave it as the default (which is actually a gongoid, I think).

Celeste will have the observatory again, which you can design for her (as well as the rest of the museum).

You can have a bag (many different kinds of bags; purse, backpack, fanny pack, etc.) to carry extra things in 16 extra slots. Similar to the train station locker where it’s exactly the same as your home closet, the inventory in one bag will be the same in another, so you don’t get confused between bags.

[ Lanayru /// 4300-6151-8179 ] - A bright, lively town. The town is teeming with flowers and trees. Said to be the ideal place to live by many. The sun is always shining and the townspeople are all cheerful and friendly to visitors. Townsfolk will often see natives of Faron Woods stop by to shop, sometimes even a villager from Snowpeak will venture down the mountain to get supplies from Lanayru.
