The Advance Wars influence on the game seems clear, but are there ways in which you tried to deviate from AW? Are there other TBS games you've paid attention to that have inspired the design for Warbits?
We've condensed some mechanics in an effort to make the game a little more approachable, movement isn't as complex and we’re holding off on naval units right now. Worked hard to make sure the UI stays out of your way on mobile, while remaining useful. We're also experimenting with alternative income mechanics, special abilities and some fresh units. In regards to the art direction we've tried to steer away from the usually gritty war look and give it a more endearing vibe.
