PH Fanfest is a competition for Pandora Hearts writers, editors, video makers, and creative individuals that will take place over the summer. The goal of this competition is to inspire and challenge editors and creators, make new friends via teams and last but not least, have fun!
To apply, fill out our application form and send it via ask box. If we don't reply within a day resend!
Sign-ups begin on May 30th and are open through the duration of the contest. You can sign up whenever! Teams were announced June 18th. The competition will begin on June 20th, and end on July 18th

Ph-Fanfest Mod Applications / Some Updates

Bet y’all thought we were dead–well think again.

I’m guessing you’re all aware of this by now, but ph-fanfest for summer 2016 sadly isn’t going to happen: Mods D, C and I all got extremely busy this summer, graduating and moving into the next chapters of our lives or beginning to wrap it up. That being said, we’ve also hit the one year anniversary of Pandora Heart’s conclusion in March! 

I was thinking upon how it’s already been a whole year, and it brought my attention back to everyone’s incredible submissions during the fanfest. I’d absolutely hate to see this kind of event die out because of Mod D, C and I’s busy schedules, which is why I’ve decided to open up MOD APPLICATIONS!

I’ll be posting more information about what the applications will look like soon, and how to apply if anyone is interested, but the quick version is: we’re looking for people who have the time and the interest who are willing (and able) to collaborate with others who want to try organizing and running ph-fanfest for the summer of 2017, and try to improve the system we already have to make it more fair and more interesting!

We won’t be throwing you completely into the water, though–I’ll be hanging around a bit still, and am happy to help answer questions and collaborate, but I won’t have nearly enough time to help completely run fanfest or the like since I’ll be attending my first year of college. Any questions you guys have’ll be answered by Mods D and I.

We hope to get some people interested, and hope we can continue fanfest as a way to keep the Pandora Hearts community an active and close community!

Hey! This is Mod D, getting back to you very, very late. I want to thank you for being such a lovely presence during all the previous fanfests, but the answer to your question is: we don’t know. 

Mod A, Mod C, and I are all very busy with school and other activities. So right now, Mod A is going to start an application for new mods to come and take over this project. We all want to see this contest become a tradition, but we’re really stretched too thin at the moment to manage it ourselves. Thank you so much again, and hopefully we will get back to everyone soon on future plans.

PH-FANFEST SUGGESTIONS

Hello everybody!! Thank you so much for participating in the 2015 ph-fanfest!! We hope you enjoyed yourselves, and again, all 3 of the Mods are extremely proud of all the artwork, playlists, videos and fan creations we’ve received! It was extremely fun looking at everyone’s submissions and challenging you all with a variety of prompts!

That being said, we would love if we could gain some feedback from you guys! If any of you have any suggestions, comments, or concerns, feel free to either message us, or send us a detailed submission upon how we can better the fanfest for the 2016 year (if the Mods are able to get the free time like we hope we can). Also, if you’d like to suggest any ideas for next years themes, please do! 

We’ll already be updating the certain parts of the point scoring (such as how to fairly award points to edits that use official artwork, versus any cleaned panels from the manga itself), and have done a lot of reworking during the fanfest itself. 

Any and all suggestions brought to us will be applied to next year’s (2016) fanfest (if we’re able to run it again during that time)

Thank you all again for participating in the fanfest, and we all hope to hear from you either next year, or the next time we’ll be able to get this up and running!

Ahhh, I’m sorry about the free prompt this year! I was entrusted with running the blog the last couple of days, since Mods C and D had business to take care of, and I had forgotten about the free prompt! It’s an error on our part, since special event days were really short notice this year for your guys (which isn’t fair to you guys at all!) 

We’ll make sure to fix this for the next fanfest!

This is it folks! 

Today is your last day to submit prompts, and as usual, the submission deadline is at midnight EST (conversion table on the main blog page). We’ve finally reached the end of the fanfest, and we thank you all for being so patient and supportive of us! We’ve seen some amazing submissions, and we’re glad to see the fandom’s still alive and well despite the Manga’s finale back in March. Today is the 4 month anniversary, so happy 18th to you all!
