So it’s been a few months since I last was on tumblr, and honestly, it’s been crazy:
- Chris and I moved and have our own apartment
- I got a new job working as head of social for Milk Makeup (DREAM)
- We’re working on making a new short film called TRUE BLUE
And the last thing is mostly what I wanted to post about. We’re in the middle of running a Kickstarter to try and make this thing happen, and if any of you can spare an extra $5 or even wouldn’t mind sharing our project somewhere, it would mean the world.
Indie filmmaking is a tough game — even tough is trying to do that for a short film, which too often is seen as somehow lesser than a feature and not worthy of people’s time/money. But we’re trying to prove otherwise. Not only that, but our film is set in Atlantic City and centers around some of the very things that are slowly destroying what was once a vibrant economy.
It’s an important and timely story overall, and I’m really proud to be making this.
