“I am Groot.” How was he suppose to know that wasn’t for everyone?

“It wasn’t for you!” Angie giggled, carefully picking the bits of silly string off him.

"I am Groot." Huffing. Trying to pick it off as well. He looked up at Angie almost begging why it was here anyway.

She smiled softly, the small woman offering her hand up to him, Palm out. “I can see that… I’ve never seen a fellow like you, are you lost?”

Reaching out and touching her palm with his, ” I am Groot. “

“Mmhm…” She nodded with a giggle. “Would you like something to drink? There’s a great river nearby!”

Smiling wide and nodding, “I am Groot.” That would be wonderful.

“Hi Groot!“The girl smiled"I’m Cammie!”

Smiling back , “I am Groot.” He held out his hand to Cammie.

She giggled,reaching up a bit to shake his hand

Groot shook her hand lightly taking care not to hurt her. “I am Groot.” It is very good to meet you Cammie.

“Cool looking topiary.”

Startling back, ” I am Groot.”

“Holy shit it talks!”

“I am Groot.” Yes I do. Holding out his hand to the new fellow.

“Call me Mari.” She said extending her hand to him.

Reaching out Groot grasped her hand. “I am Groot.”

She cocked her head to the side, and looked up at him. “Is that all you can say?”

Nodding his head, “I am Groot.”  Yes it is.

She backed nervously away from the sound even though her instinct said safety, crouching ever so slightly as she waited for it to come into view. Groot?

He finished climbing down, still calling out, “I am Groot.” Anyone there I swore I heard you? Turning and looking all around.

After a few silent seconds, the young woman came into view, head poking out shyly from behind a crate. “Are… Are you an Ent?” She asked shyly. She hadn’t seen an Ent like him before, but then again.. She was surrounded by metal and couldn’t feel a forest anywhere near.

Groot crept near the girl, “I am Groot.” Are you ok?

“It’s just that you seemed really uneasy, Groot. Have you been here before?” She asked, curious as to what had made her friend’s demeanor change..

Shaking his head no, he just couldn’t shake the bad feeling. “I am Groot.”

“If you’re feeling uneasy, we can head off if you like. We don’t have to stop here if you think something’s up..”

Nodding his head yes, “I am Groot.” Yes let us keep moving.

Groot stirred he reached for her other hand, “I am Groot.” Natasha are you alright?

She smiled and took his other hand. “I’m ok, dear…”

Groot stood up to shift Natasha from the bed, “I am Groot.” Shall I just carry you again?

She whimpered a bit as she was moved. “Hmm… Not yet…”

Groot froze in place to keep Nat safe.

Nodding understanding “I am Groot.” Some days it is hard with the language barrier. That is good than.

“Aye, it is.  What about ye mate?  Need a car fixed or anything?”

“I am Groot.” Well there is my jump pod that needs help.

Scratching his chest, the male just let out a simple grunt.  “Donno if I can fix jump pods.”

“I am Groot.” Doesn't hurt to look, right?

Groot just let out another barky laugh, “I am Groot.” No, no nothing important. and jabbering no at all.

“Ah, good. That’s a relief… It would be rude of me to ignore a pressing matter. So, if neither of us has anything better to do… Let me ask you a bit about yourself and your adventures. You say you know how long stories can go, I’ll not ask you to tell them unless you wish but I think it’s a safe assumption that you’ve a few of your own.”

Nodding yes “I am Groot.” Ask away my new friend. Letting out a good laugh.

Just a nice walk in the flower garden in Central Park. That is all Groot was looking for today. Oh well, “I am Groot?”

Riddick saw this tree move. Then he realized that it had a body and face. Of all the alien life he’s seen, he wasn’t expecting this. “Well you’re different.”

Groot  looked over at the new fellow. “I am Groot.” Who are you?

Setting her down, Groot kept a light hand on her shoulder to keep her steady. “I am Groot.” Was there anything you wished to do today?

The blonde steadied herself and smiled up at Groot. “So. What now?” She asked, not quite grasping all the nuances in his speech yet.

Groot shrugged his shoulders and shook his head, “I am Groot.” I am not sure.

“I am Groot.” Smiling wide.

“Nice to meet you Groot.” For some reason he couldn’t help but chuckle at the name. “I am Ciel Phantomhive.” He looked behind him and gazed to the demonic butler that stood there waiting for orders. “Sebastian, go fetch some water and tea.”

Groot looked around watching Sebastian go off. “I am Groot.” It is nice to meet you Ciel, Sebastian. Groot started to play with little objects near him.

Sora looked up to the sky when he pointed. “The stars? Technically those are other worlds. If a world is destroyed a star goes out.” That most likely wasn’t what the creature was asking. 

Groot shrugged, it gave him sorta of an idea of Sora knew. Groot pointed to the ground then up to the stars again. then made a ship motion with his hands. “I am Groot.” Can you travel between the stars?
