Summertime Sadness

We all experience the feeling of sadness. It may be because your parents will work on another country just to be financially stable, or maybe not getting the thigh part of the chicken, or maybe your partner left you because of some commitment issues. No matter how big or small the reason is, sadness is inevitable.

Thankfully, we have someone or some people that’s always on our side. For me, these are my friends! Whenever I’m sad, angry, hungry, happy, or crazy they are always there for me.

#HereTogether with “Drunk with Pride”

As most of us know, June is the Pride Month wherein the LGBTQA community can be truly free to express themselves. Why? Because they are oppressed, bullied, teased, and treated like they are worthless to the society. It’s the 21st century, it’s time to accept them because they are humans too. Accept that #LoveIsLove no matter what the sexual orientation is.

This post is for the LGBTQA community especially the youth. This post aims to inspire the youth to be themselves and to tell everybody that there is nothing wrong being a part of our community.

CALYPSO X RMDELLOVA

2017 will be the year for myself. It’s about focusing on myself and my career. It’s about making time for my passion. It’s about building myself to be better. It’s about connecting and collaborating with people and brands that share my views and passion. My 2017 started with a collaboration with Calypso (see website & instagram). 

Calypso is brand that sells quality bracelets and classy timepieces. I was so shocked and happy when they messaged me for a collaboration because I’ve been eyeing their bracelets ever since I saw them.

Christmas Thoughts to Share

I don’t know if you experienced this year like the way I experienced it, but it was somehow unpleasant. The stress was too much to handle. Everything was just plain wrong. It was like life was playing with you throughout the year. If you experienced it like the way I did, this caption is for you.

Fallacy — “Things are not always what they seem.” 

This is my latest artwork entitled “Fallacy”. This was my first time drawing on a B4 paper because I was used to small papers and my biggest canvas before this was A4 paper. This was also my first artwork that was super detailed (in terms of shading and the face details). Read more for the detailed pictures!

The Pastelist

This was my outfit last BU12 (see post). The event’s outfit theme was supposed to be shiny/metallic/bright, but I don’t own any shiny clothes so I decided to put up this ensemble. This outfit shows my love for pastels and denims!

Bloggers United 12 x OLX @ World Trade Center

Since my first BU (click here) last May, I’ve been wanting to see my fave bloggers again. When BU12 was announced, I was so excited because aside from the fact that I have the chance to see my favorites, their clothes will be on sale too! That’s like hitting two birds with one stone! A week before BU12, bloggers were giving away free tickets for the said event! And of course, who doesn’t like free tickets? So I joined a giveaway hosted by Zed (see blog) and luckily, I won 2 tickets! A buddy of mine, Angel (see blog), went with me last BU11 but unfortunately, she wasn’t available that weekend for BU12. It turns out my bestfriend, Ivy (see blog), was going to the same event so I instantly messaged her about the giveaway I won and gave her a free ticket.

A Letter for The One

To You, The One Destined for Me. 

 Hello to you. Where are you right now? I hope you're somewhere safe. You might be miles away from me but I'm sure we will meet someday. You might be in someone else's arms right now but that's okay, you haven't met me yet. You might be in a dark phase of your life so I hope you find the light and I hope that you keep on fighting. I hope we find each other at the right time. 

 Just so you know, I'm still waiting for you. I'm not rushing to meet you or anything, I just want you to know that I'm waiting for you. I just can't seem to wait and show you how much I care for you or how much I love you. Right now, I'm pretty sure I could make you happy, like I have all these plans in my head on how to keep you happy or how to make you happy whenever you're not. 

 I promise to take good care of you and be your best partner. I've had seen situations where I would say something like "If I were your partner, I won't do that." because I think I know how good relationships work. It consists of trust, respect, understanding, and a lot of respect. I'm probably blabbering too much right now, it's just I'm excited to talk to you and tell you about my life. I hope you tell me yours too. 

 I honestly do hope you're happy right now. Aside from the fact that I want all people to be happy, I want you to never feel sad  because it would break my heart that I didn't find you earlier so I could spare you from feeling down. I want you to know that I love you. I may not have seen you yet but I do know that I have a lot of affection for you. I hope that when we find each other, we will do our best to keep our relationship strong and full of love. When I find you, I will show you this letter (if you haven't read this yet) and show you that my feelings for you is true.

Summer Lookbook

I know this is a very very late post about summer, but it’s not my fault that I study in a university where we still have classes even though it’s summer vacation already. Better late than never, right??? Haha

So, last May 31, 2016 (Monday) we went to Dalampasigan Beach Resort in Quezon province and I thought why not have a mini-shoot so I could show you my summer outfits! I prepared two outfits that’s perfect for the beach or just going out. These outfits are very comfortable so even if Mr. Sun decides to give off his full heat, you’ll still feel comfortable!

First Outfit

Second Outfit

Polo & Shorts piece - AMS Clothing (@amsclothingph in IG) White Sleeveless Shirt or Sando - Uniqlo

You can partner these outfits with sandals or “mandals”, slippers, or any comfortable shoes that can match the color scheme of these outfits.
