"Her melody moves the soul, her silence sunders the body." - Jericho Swain ((Hello, I'm Sona's 'mun'. This is my first time RPing via Tumblr, so stick with me if I'm being slow or dense. Feel free to either ask Sona questions or just hang out with her. I'm good for any pairings and any scenarios. I don't mind AUs and both my muse and I are 18+ That being said, I'd like to point out that while I'm fine with smut, I do prefer other kinds of RP. I do like to see friendships develop and RPs with plots are great!))

"Sona. I understood that you were looking for me." Lee bowed his head extending his arms slowly before standing up straight his arms crossed against his chest. "How fares it be my friend ? " Lee offered his hand to take that of hers so that he might understand if she was speaking to him.

Sona gave a warm smile to Lee. Even if he couldn’t see it, she could not stop herself from smiling. Sona took hold of the monk’s hand and turned it so that the palm was facing up. The silent Maven still did not know what method to use for communication with Lee, since he wouldn’t see the sign language and she couldn’t mutter a single sound. So she decided to try something different.

On the palm of Lee’s hand, Sona used her index finger to trace letters. It was slow, and probably tedious for the both of them but it was worth a try. It was important that Sona spoke with him.

"Yes. I was looking for you. Can you read this or should I try another method?"; Was what the maven spelled out on the monk’s hand.

As Lee tilted Sona’s head up so she could look at his face, Sona felt a horrid lump in her throat. Her eyes quivered as she stared at her own reflection in his dark glasses. A big heart wasn’t good enough and she wished she was better than the summoners and the elders who tried to help him; but she knew herself that there was more than likely nothing she could do.
Sona watched Lee struggle for his own breaths and the coughing made her wince slightly. Once he was ready again, Sona took his hand to write some more.
"If you won’t let me try to help then at least spend these last days doing the things you’ve always wanted to. There must be things you’ve never done that you’ve wanted to?"

Lee frowned deeply shaking his head. “I’m sorry Sona. But there is nothing I want to do with my life. I have done everything I can and everything I wanted to do. I did not waste a single minute of my life and I’m content with that.. All I’ll do is say my goodbyes and leave.” He sighed deeply realizing how dark that all was. He didn’t want a gravestone. He didn’t want people to mourn him. He left his mark on Ionia and the league and that was all he ever wanted to do. So now it was time for him to leave without a word. He would not say when he would leave or where to but it was sure to bring himself peace. "But if you wish it so Sona.. was there something you wanted to do with me today ? I’ll give you all the time I have left I have still some time left to do things."

Sona frowned. She was glad that he would leave the world with no regrets, but that still did not help with the hurt in her chest. There were many things she wished to do with the blind monk. Pleasant walks alongside the river, building sandcastles on a beach or sparring against one another. Or simply listening to the world. That was something they both did well; listen.

She forced a smile. "How are you with karaoke?"

"… Do undead actually live in the Howling Marsh?"

Sona held up a sign. “Only the most grotesque, fierce and angry of the undead live there. ^_^”

"And how do you know such a thing?" Master Yi inquired as lenses examined and re-examined her sign, "I have traveled through there once or twice and I have not seen a thing… though I do avoid the place because of such rumors."

Sona blinked and held up another sign. "Have you not heard? So many people have travelled into the marsh, only to never return. Perhaps you've been lucky and have crossed through it when the undead have been hibernating."

Sona shook her head from side to side. Her long hair slightly brushed against the monk, making her visual objection a little more noticable. Her heart thumped in her chest as she began to write again.
"You may accept it, but I do not." Sona still took her time writing, but it seemed a little more rushed than the previous words. It was almost as though she was scribbling her emotions onto his hand. "I do my best to keep those around me alive and healthy. No matter what your ailment is, I shall try to fix it." Sona rushed into her next sentence, not wanting to give Lee a response at that moment. "Before you say again that you’ve accepted it and there is no point to me trying, I want to try anyway. I will not stand by and watch you di-… and watch you leave us without at least trying to save you." Sona stopped her writing and furrowed her brow as she stared down at her invisible words.

He wanted to object. Stop her from writing out her mind but eventually he just let her continue because else he would also lose track of the rant and was not able to object to it anymore. The moment she was finished he could just feel the tension between them right there. Her words were passionate and well meant but sadly irellevant for the situation he was in. "You have a big heart you know that ? " He started with merely those words before carefully taking a hold of her hand and his other hand gently nudged her chin up to look at him as he gave a bright smile at her. "I’m lucky to have a friend like you by my side during these dark days." "But i’m afraid that you can’t help me Sona. The summoners could not help me. The elders did not know what afflicted me either. I wish you could do something about it but just being able to say goodbye to you makes me so much easier already. " His grip on her hand slowly became looser as he coughed a few times and rested his hand on his chest for a moment to take a few steady breathes. "I’ll be spending my last day far away from everyone around me so that you can all continue your day without me." Lee gave a bright smile nodding his head as if he was agreeing with his own words. "yeah.."

Sona grinned and felt her body relax. Out of all the people Sona had met throughout her life, Lee was the only one who seemed to have the patience for her. It warmed Sona’s heart.
"Then we will stick with this if you do not mind?" She wrote the phantom letters once more, waiting for him to visualise the question in his mind before she continued. "I heard you were sick. Very sick. There are rumours that you are-" Sona’s finger stopped writing as a frown came to her lips. The tip of her finger hovered over the monk’s palm as she hesitated. She didn’t want to write the rest of it, for she could not accept the idea that Lee Sin could be dying.

Lee paused as she started to write on his hand again waiting for the sentence to appear before him. He nodded slowly. “Ofcourse take your time.” Her finger started to move again but hte moment she spelled out sick twice he knew where this was going. But suddenly her writing stopped. It was no secret and he had been doing his best to say his goodbyes to everyone.. Sona was still on his list for that so right now was perhaps a good idea. He carefully reached out to take her hand and squeezed it very carefully nodding his head. “I understand. They are no rumors though they are true. ” He took a deep breath that cost him more energy then he would have liked. Giving a broken smile at Sona. “I’m dying..And I don’t know why or how. But I am and I’ll accept it.” He carefully let go of her hand stroking it gently before opening his palm for her again if she wanted to reply. He imagined she would though. So many questions so little time left in the old man.

Lee felt his hand being taken by the maven. And so she started writing as the letters slowly formed din his mind and carefully one by one made clear what she was meaning to ask. But Lee had all the patience in the world. Slow and steady would win the race and there was no rushing required to speak with her. "It works. I could also hold your hands as you try to do sign language. I know many of them but I must feel your hands for them so it would be just as slow as this method." Lee smiled shrugging slightly. "Whichever you prefer Sona. I am fine with both so long as I understand you there is no issue at all." Lee held his palm firm so that Sona was able to write again.

Sona grinned and felt her body relax. Out of all the people Sona had met throughout her life, Lee was the only one who seemed to have the patience for her. It warmed Sona's heart.

"Oh, hey Sona, I see you've removed your wig!" Vex said, mistaking her for mavenofmetal.

Sona blinked and tilted her head to the side. She closed her eyes, shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. She hadn't worn any wig in a long time. "Pardon? I have not worn any wig recently." She signed with her hands, hoping Vex understood the language.

It was that time, time for a new champion to be added to the ranks of fighters on summon's rift. The league had sent word to all the other champs inviting them to another party for the newcomer (is it ok that I put this here?)

Avatar

((// Yup yup, it's perfectly fine.))Sona stood at the side of the party. She had been asked to dance a couple of times which she enjoyed, and she had even performed a few songs on her etwahl. However, inbetween the dances and music, Sona was often left alone. Music and dancing didn't require much conversation, but when people broke off into groups to talk, Sona was often left alone.

She let her sharp blue eyes scan over the crowd of people. Some champions had decided not to show up; which Sona had predicted. Not everyone liked these parties, but Sona certainly did. She kept her eyes peeled for someone she didn't recognise, and eventually she did.

"He must be the new champion." Sona thought to herself as she smiled and approached the new man.
