I don’t believe in an afterlife, but i’m going to tell myself that in the 100 it’s canon. May we meet again isn’t just a comforting phrase but a promise.

A promise that Lexa has been reunited with Costia, with Anya, with Brutus. That all those she lost have been restored to her.

That Clarke will be reunited with Lexa, and with Finn and her father. That she will have a chance to love, and be loved.

That someday Jasper will see Maya again, that his pain will finally end.

That Bellamy will see Gina; Jaha will see Wells; Abby will see her husband; Raven will see her best friend.

This show is too full of heartbreak and too lacking in hope. i’m going to chose to believe that when these characters leave our version of their world they go onto somewhere better. Somewhere kinder. Somewhere where life is about more than just surviving.

Well that was a huge reality check. It’s not 2150… It’s 2016… Where the lesbian still dies. Sigh.
