July 20th- August 3rd

Go a little behind on the updates, sorry about that guys. This last little bit of MCAT prep is taking up almost every minute of my day. My ankle hasn't really been improving so I've not been working out since my last check in. I'm trying to keep my schedule stable for the next week so I'll be holding off on working out until the week of the 10th. I'm getting angsty to get back to working out so I'm hoping that itch will help me get over the non-productive hump I was in even before my ankle started acting up. While I wait to get back in the gym I shall plot on ways to change my workout routine to make it more interesting lol.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday (July 17th-19th)

he past few days haven't been too great in terms of working out. I've been having trouble putting weight on my right ankle ( I twisted it last week and I thought it would be better by now...). But it's been feeling markedly better in the last few hours so I think a workout is in store for tomorrow :D *dances*

Losing Direction

So I've been having trouble keeping on task with the fitness goals I set for this summer. I thought I was going to have a lot more time than I did. That coupled with my decreasing motivation made for a summer (so far) that wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. So my goal for the next three weeks is to simplify things. This is going to be my workout plan 6 days/week until things slow down a little for me:

It's all body weight exercises that can be done at home so I can't make the excuse that I don't have time to go to the gym. The calf raise-squat portion of the workout is stolen from  @blackfitness on Instagram :p

I'll be updating you guys on Wednesday and Saturdays for the next little while, so you'll get to see how this back to basics experiment goes :).

Days 351-365

Being lazy about stretching has finally caught up to me,. I haven't been able to colmplete a full week's worth of workouts in the past while because after two or three days of working out I get super stiff and sore. I have learned my lesson. My buzzfeed food challenge is on hold for a bit because I've been having trouble getting hold of the food I need for it.  I definitely owe you guys a thorough update and it's coming, I promise.
