I absolutely LOVED London! For one thing, the metro in London is cleaner/newer than the one in Paris. It's easier to get around because everyone speaks English. And there were a lot of iconic places in London that we visited because of movies or tv shows!
Same cafe... More details.
Cute little cafe we stumbled across in Beckenreid. Has all these vintage details and some good sandwiches and strong coffee.
One year wedding anniversary! We spent it on a paddle steamer going across lake Lucerne.
Trubsee lake - halfway up Mt. Titlis. This place was surrounded by mist/fog. It was very quiet and kinda creepy.
The view from the top of Mt. Titlis. It felt like we were on top of the world!
Zurich at night. Baguettes were all we could afford...
Waiting to board our Zurich flight. Could be a bumpy ride...
Dessert for our last night in London - chamomile tea and chocolate cake.
Our last night in London - went back to Pier 1 for King prawns and chips.
Borough Market - food market with lots of organic options. They had fresh fish (saw a blue shark), fresh oysters (YUM!) and all kinds of sausages. We got the spicy lamb and the venison with wild boar!
Why yes! That IS the Tardis behind us!!
Kevin ordered the cod fish and chips while I got the haddock one.
After walking to Buckingham Palace, through St. James park, and all along The Mall (a street in London), then to Trafalgar Square we worked up quite the appetite. We went to the famous Pier 1 for their fish n' chips.
Thai food for lunch with Kevin's friend Dave. Pu's Brasseries is right around the corner from Holborn station. Pad Thai, green curry and sweet & sour soup.
Dinner at Cape Town Fish Market by the Oxford Circus station. We started with the portabello mushroom appetizer. I got the pork belly with scallops and surf clam. Kevin got the grilled seabass. Of course we topped it off with creme brûlée!!
Looks like they rebuilt the bridge since the Deatheaters last destroyed it.
