Idea Factory International will release otome visual novel Cupid Parasite: Sweet & Spicy Darling for Switch in 2024 in the west, the publisher announced.
Cupid Parasite: Sweet & Spicy Darling will launch first in Japan on November 30.

It’s a word processing software created with unruly, complicated novels in mind. However, some writers stay away because its many features can be seem overwhelming at first. If you want to use Scrivener, but haven’t taken the plunge yet. Scrivener comes with tools dedicated to outlining, researching, and brainstorming your manuscript. The first part of this series details everything you can do in Scrivener before setting that first line down in ink (or pixels.)
The second part in this series covers the actual “writing” part of writing. It covers multiple composition modes (even making your screen mimic Microsoft Word!), writing in split screen, word targets, and more.
The third part of this series gives advice on exporting your writing into a standard manuscript format, saving each version of your work as you go along, and the best tools for revising your manuscript.

I forgot how utterly amazing this software is, so I’m re-blogging my three Scrivener guides!
A separate text file for each chapter. The organization make it so easy to move around my manuscript, so that doing things like going back to certain chapters to find information I need isn’t an utter nightmare. Equally important, I try to make sure my chapters are between 1,500 and 2,500 words for consistency. Having a separate text file makes it easy to see how far away I am from that mark. Which brings me to feature two.
Targets! I can set manuscript targets, session targets, and chapter targets. This means I can tell Scrivener I want my novel to be 40,000 words long, my chapter to be 2,000 words long, and that I’d like to write 1,500 words today. I can even say I want to finish my book by August 1st, and it’ll tell me how much I need to write each day to meet it–adjusting automatically if I go over/under my daily goal. It’s motivational too, pushing me forward because I’m never far away from hitting a goal.
Statistics! Scrivener goes above and beyond for manuscript statistics. I click one button and it tells me how many words there are in my book, how long the paragraphs and sentences are on average, how many chapters there are, the longest and shortest chapters, how many pages the document would be as a paperback, and even how long it would take to read!!!! I. Love. It.
Paragraph highlights in composition mode. This is a comparatively insubstantial feature, but in this drafting phase it’s been really helpful for keeping me moving forward–focusing on the words I’m currently writing, not going back and changing the ones I wrote twenty minutes ago.

just kinda hang around in spaces where other people make vns and ask questions. before you can write a vn, you've gotta be able to write, so that's a good place to start
probably pick up renpy unless you can justify using something else, if only because it's so thoroughly documented and has so many years of forum history to pick through when you run into a wall. check opengameart, pixabay, freesound, etc. and cut corners as much as you need in order to fill the gaps
also it sounds like the character you're talking about is.... homura? maybe violet evergarden?
the thing about making vns is that most guides aren't gonna serve you especially well, since making a vn in something like renpy is incredibly straightforward on a mechanical level
all the stuff that'd make a vn worth reading or special is down to the weirder stuff that'd necessitate more specific questions. very similar to writing a normal book in that regard
important addendum since this is leaving the original audience who understands this to be implied: you've gotta actually read vns, and not just modern ones, and not just ones originally in english

We've been so busy since the wrap of the (very successful) Kickstarter, pulling together rewards for all of our lovely backers, as well as firing on all cylinders working on the full game.
As things have been growing and changing, and social media sites waver and crash, we have been considering how to best keep in touch with our wonderful community. Of course we'll remain active on here, Twitter, and Reddit, as well as anywhere else that crops up as a viable alternative. But we'd really like to stay in communication with all of you more organically and more directly.
To that end, we have a two-fold announcement.
First, we are starting an Open Late Media Patreon, officially launching Friday, September 1st.
The Patreon will expand on the worlds we create in our games, as well as share snippets from development, upcoming releases, exclusive art, and wherever else our creativity takes us.
Benefits of joining include art and scene game previews and exclusive side stories, in both NSFW and SFW flavors. Patrons have the ability to vote on and suggest content for future months.
As a treat, here's what you can expect for September's rewards.
While we are first and foremost developing content related to our games and the characters and settings we create within them, we will also be putting our own take on other media; based on the suggestions of Patrons, you can expect to read fics of your favorite characters with that distinctive OLG twist.
