“14 years have passed since I was born. It’s already been 14 years. It’s been 14 years since I was born, and yet nothing exciting has happened to me. But then again, I don’t get the feeling that anything will happen. … This is a hopeless city, its like the definition of ‘sucks’ - even if I want to lift, we don’t get any decent waves here. If you want any kind of life, you have to join the military. But then, I don’t know how it is that I’ll be able to get out of this city. I’m too young to know that. I mean, I’ve only been alive for 14 years.”
“Right now there’s lots of hatred towards each other (Scabs and humans), but its not too late. We can still make it. Eureka is not a human being, I know that all too well. But I think if I took Eureka as she is right now to Bellforest, Gramps would be completely surprised. … Then again, maybe Gramps wouldn’t accept Eureka as she is right now. I know thats possible, but Sis… right now I want to take Eureka back home with me. I want to introduce Eureka to everyone! I want to show Eureka and the three kids, and everyone on the Gekko, that crummy town where you and I lived and grew up, Sis! That stupid little town where you can’t even do any decent lifting!”
“No matter what happens, we will overcome it together!”

Ten whole years have now passed since episode 1: “Blue Monday” aired in Japan. A very happy birthday to Psalms of Planets: Eureka seveN, celebrating its 10th anniversary! Thank you very much / どもありがとうございます to Studio BONES for creating such a loveable, thought-provoking television series.

Here’s to many more years!
